Italy Special Event by U1GSC Amateur Radio Club

Individuals from the 4U1GSC Amateur Radio Club are currently dynamic as 4U29MAY from the UN Global Service Center in Brindisi, Italy, until June 30th.

Action is to observe “Worldwide Day of UN Peace-managers” (May 29th) [http://www.un.org/en/occasions/peacekeepersday/].

They trust that the ’29MAY’ addition will help you to remember this day when they honor more than 4,000 ‘Blue Helmets’, UN Police and regular citizen staff who lost their lives while serving in field missions.

Their endeavors are quite possibly the most substantial articulations of the UN Charter’s assurance to save succeeding ages from the scourge of war.

Tasks will be on 160-10 meters. Keep in mind, this activity ony means Italy for DXCC.
